Problem with .docx file with .eps vector graphics

Hi all,

I’m a user of Win7Pro, Word2013 and PDFCreator 1.9.1 (but the same problem occurs in 1.7.2) There’s a problem with converting a .docx file with .eps graphics to .pdf format, converting stops on first page with image, converts this page and prints an error information on last page of new .pdf file:

ERROR: invalidrestore
OFFENDING COMMAND: restore
STACK:
-savelevel-
-savelevel-
-dictionary-
-dictionary-

If there’s only one graph on page- there’s no problem, I can convert this type of page and than combine document with PDFArchitect. But when there are more graphs on one page, PDFCreator creates a page with first graph only, than there’s empty space in place, where should be another graph, and than plots some text if it was on the page. Other solution is to convert file with Word build in pdf converter, but it’s now working well- lines on graphs, that should be presented as dashed are becomming continous (PDFCreator deals with that well).

Have anyone any idea how to solve it? Thanks in advance for any ideas/solutions,

Regards,
Michał Stachowski.

Here’s a link to a .rar file, that includes a .docx file and also results of PDFCreator and Word build in converter:

Hope, this message/link won’t be deleted, because it shows the problem in best way

Hi,

I am afraid this is a ghostscript error, you can try to get some help on the ghostscript forums, there is nothing we can really do about it.
If you find this is a bug only in specific ghostscript version, you can install an older version and tell PDFCreator to use it in the “ghostscript” section of the PDFCreator options.
