Hello,
I have two PDFCreator installations on Windows 2008 R2 servers (RDP) and have the same problem on both:
Sometimes, users try to print a document (it happens with differents software), the first dialog box opens correctly but when they click on the save button, PDFCreator shutdown (without error even in the Windows event logs) and queue the print file. If I launch manually PDFCreator, we can find the print file in the queue and we can print it.
This is a problem because users don’t always understand that the file is in queue and if they do a lot of PDF creations and the problem appaers several times they have to verify if every print works.
PDFCreator v1.7.1 (problem already there with 1.6)

Hi,
please try to uninstall PDFCreator, delete all settings, reboot (if possible) and run a fresh setup (in application mode) to ensure it is not a configuration problem.

Robin
Hi Robin,
Already done but the issue is still here.

Hi,
have you enabled PDFCreators internal logging? (press F3 on the print monitor or select from menu)
Maybe there is a clue in there on why this is happening.

Robin
Hi Robin,
No, it wasn’t activated. I just did it and will ask to the user to try.
