Right click to send to PDF creates hard copy instead

Right clicking on a Word document and choosing 'Create PDF and Bitmap files with PDFCreator' sends to physical printer instead of creating PDF.

This happened on Ver 1.2 which was then upgraded to 1.6. Also tried uninstall and fresh install of 1.6. Still the same.

It warns it is changing default printer to PDF Creator but still sends to physical printer - which is te normal default.

It seems it is unable to change the default printer.

This is on Windows 7 Pro 64bit and has previously been OK.

Any ideas?

have you tried if changing the “No confirm message when changing PDFCreator temporarly as default printer” makes any difference?
