I receive an error message when trying to create a PDF from scanner in my new PDF Architect Pro 4. I can still create a PDF from scanner in my old PDF Architect Pro 3. Do I need to uninstall PDF Architect Pro 3? I am reluctant to do this as I risk losing my scanning function completely.

you can have both versions installed, there is no need to uninstall PDF Architect 3.
What does the error message say in PDF Architect 4?
