Selecting Part of the Screen to Convert to PDF

Does anyone know how to select only part of the screen or only a few Excel cells to convert them to a PDF?  If I copy only a few Excel cells to the Windows clipboard and use the PDFCreator menu selection Document / Add from Clipboard the resulting PDF is lacking in quality.  It would be nice if there was a Select Rectangle type of function in PDFCreator.  Does anyone have any ideas how to do this?

You can highlight the cells you want and then use the  "Print Selection" option in the print menu.

If you are really aftre moer of a part of the screen have you looked at a screen shot tool?

A good one I can recomend is Greenshot http://greenshot.sourceforge.net/

Nolan,

Thank you for your reply.  If my selection in Excel is in the upper left of the screen (cell A1) and I print the selection to a PDF using PDF Creator, then the resulting PDF shows my selection in the upper left with the rest of the page blank.  I would like the PDF to show just my selection, not the rest of the page which is blank.

If I copy the selection (cell A1) to the clipboard and then use the PDF Creator menu selection Document / Add from Clipboard the resulting PDF is the same size as my selection and shows only my selection, but it does not show the rest of the page as blank  This is what I am trying to accomplish except using the clipboard gives me a poor quality PDF.

asjones,

Thank you for your reply.  I can call PDF Creator from a macro in Excel just by adding a print line/command which is what I need to do.  Greenshot did not install itself as a printer so I will need to manually do everything with Greenshot which is not as desirable.  Also, I have not tried Greenshot yet, but since it takes screenshots I am concerned it will lack the quality image that I need.
