Hello, I would love to see following feature in the next version of PDFCreator - it is very helpful and easy to implement:
A button "Save to default folder". If this button is clicked, PDFCreator does not ask for the folder, where the PDF should be stored to, but saves it automatically to the default folder.
With installation this folder is set to %Desktop%, but should be customizable.
I would use the "Options" button for this feature and place a link label (blue underlined text) for the settings dialog in the upper right corner of the PDFCreator window instead, since the "Options" button is normally not used in daily work. (The link label is not so prominent like a command button. :)
As a developer I have to test printing functions pretty often - of course I do print to a PDF to save paper and trees. But waiting for the "Save file dialog" to open (which can take a few seconds on a slow machine) and doing the additional click is pretty uncomfortable! - Here my suggestion would help a lot!
What do others think about my idea?
Please let me know, if it is possible to implement my idea! :)
