I am trying to produce a PDF for a book cover, so the page size is not
standard. In this case 330.5 mm x 244 mm. This is the size of my
document in Word 2010. But when I print to PDF, I end up with an A3
page with my page taking up some of it.
I know that I was able to
do this in 0.9.8 because I did almost exactly the same 3 years ago. I
can’t see what I’m doing wrong this time! I have set custom PDF size, but this seems to be ignored.
Sorry, did not add the extra info.

Hi,
have you treid setting a fixed page size in the PDFCreator options for this (Document Properties 2)?
regards,
Robin
Thanks Robin.
Still had significant problems, but here is the solution (for anyone else) …
My document is in Landscape Orientation, so I entered the pagesize as I saw it on the screen. The trick is that the device settings always need to be for the Portrait orientation …
In Devices and Printers Printing Preferences, pagesize needs to be specified in current units (e.g. mm) as the Portrait size (e.g. 244 x 330.5 in my case).
In PDF Creator, Fixed pagesize under Document Properties 2, need to set the same size in points, again for the Portrait orientation (e.g. 692 x 937 pts).
Then all lines up and pages don’t get cropped the wrong way!
Regards,
David
