I am unable to update (or uninstall) PDF Architect 9. Whenever i try to do this, I get the message "The installation process was interrupted. The signature is invalid."
What is going on here? This is making PDF Architect unusable as far as I am concerned!
What signature is being referred to here? Is it my digital signature? If it is my digital signature, I don't see how this is relevant to updating PDF Architect.
The web page on changing, verifying, or deleting my digital signature (PDF Architect online article '22193895250452-How-to-change-verify-or-delete-my-digital-signature') is of no help as I cannot see how to access my signature from the guidance given.
I have the same problem... is there anyone here at pdfforge to assist or is this a dead product?
Try uninstalling it using the PDF Architect Removal Tool:
How to Uninstall PDF Architect / Troubleshooting / Removal Tool
Reboot the pc then try to install the latest version.
Unfortunately unstalling won't work either. The "uninstall or change a program window", as mentioned behind the link above, won't open. It only comes up with the message "The installation process was interrupted. Signature is invalid."
So there seems to be no easy way to get rid of it for the moment.
You should use the Removal Tool pointed by my link in my previous post.
Ah yeah, you are right. I have overlooked the link to the PDFArchitectRemovalTool.exe, thank you.
Tried it and it worked. Managed to uninstall PDFArchitect and then it re-installed OK when i re-installed PDFCreator.
