Ways to expedite the creation of forms

Im using architect 4 on a windows 7, i have to create a number of forms and im having some issues and was wondering if there were any key shortcuts to help, if not they can be possible improvements for future updates. BTW the new feature that allows the user to manually set the tab order is perfect, nice and simple.

1. These forms are going to used for a number of different things and the textbox may too small for certain inputs. Is there a way to make the font of text entered into a textfield  variable based on the length of the field? This would be similar to a fit text option.

2. I have a large grid system on the form when I brought it into PDF architect. Could there be a function in the future that fills an empty cell with a text field by clicking inside the cell?

3. I have to modify a large number of text fields from the default in the same way, Can Iselect multiple fields to change them all at once? I think i would be able to do this if there weren’t background lines with the click and drag method. I’m looking for something like the file explorer where if you hold ctl and click on a few text field it would let you change the properties of them all.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi,

thanks for the feedback!

1. You might be able to do this with a custom JavaScript action.
2. This sounds a bit to specific to be implemeted in a useful way for a larger group of users.
3. While this isn’t possible, you can create a field with the desired properties and copy and paste it.
It will paste it into the same location from where it originally was copied though and not all of the properties will get copied together with it, but most will. I will add a feature request for this and our developers will discuss it.

best regards,
