I'm not able to install multiple PDF Printers on a Windows 2008 R2 x64 Server.
The install works great and it creates one printer, but it doesnt work when I go to Printer > Printers, Type in a New Printer Name, click Add printer, then Save
I follow those steps, then look in Printers and do not see the printer. However it is still listed as a Printer in PDFCreator.
I am logged in as the local administrator.
I tried ensuring that the server is running the executable as Administrator by right clicking it > Properties > Compatibility > Run this program as an administrator
using PDF Creator 1.2
This does however work perfectly on my Windows 7 Pro x64 workstation
Hi mj2718, I have the same issue. There is only one PDFCreator displayed in Control Panel\\Hardware\\Devices and Printers However if i attempt to print I can select my additional PDFCreator printer OK. I can also right click for the print dialogue box and access the Properties sharing etc Cheers, Chris
It seems to have some pb with spreading PDFcreator settings to new account.
If you install the PDFCreator and create several printers on it, on the first logon Windows create all settings for the user from the local machine. (control set?)
But if you add PDFprinters on it these won't be distributed for already created login....
It seem's the users could print a file to the printer.
But managing the printer won't work. The user could not see every printer.
That's the conclusion I had.
I'm not sure if 'it's true or not.
Someone might have a look at it too ?
I tempt to spread the settings through a .reg activated from the connexion script.
