Hello,
I’m running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit German and my computer. I installed PDFCreator 1.6.1 without PDFArchitect.
I can start PDFCreator and add different files into the queue and combine them all into one single PDF.
I cannot use the sample script CombineJobs.vbs. I tried the following:
* Disabled the User Account Control (UAC)
* Changed the registry key * chandged the registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VBSFile\Shell\Open\Command (Standard) from
"%SystemRoot%\System32\WScript.exe" “%1” %
to
"%SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\WScript.exe" “%1” %
* Copied the CombineJobs.vbs from the program directory into my data directory
* Started the VBS
* the text files 1.txt, 2.txt, … are created/removed but no PDF is available
* I don’t get an error message only the time out message after several seconds
When I install the PDFCreator on a second computer Windows 7 32-Bit the VBS script works as expected.
Do you have an idea what should be done on my Windows 7 64-bit maschinie?
