Windows 7 x64 and option dialog

Hi all.

I've just updated 2 PCs with Windows 7 Pro x64 to PDFCreator 0.9.9. And now, if I go to PDFCreator -> Printers -> Options, a message appear saying that pdfcreator has stopped workin, proposing me the debug. With version 0.9.8, I solve the problem putting the executable in the DEP exclusion list, but with version 0.9.9 this does not solve the problem... Any advice?

Thank all! :-)

I use Win7 Prof 64 German version, installed freshly over a preinstalled XP Prof 32 without even trying to migrate.

Just installed the pdf-creator after having read the entire thread on Win7. Forewarned, in the installation procedure I changed the standard installation path to C;\\Programme (which is really C.\\programme and not C:\\program files).

Thus, I have (so far) none of the problems described by you. The printer is working fine. Lets see whether it works tomorrow (after a reboot). I will make a note in gteh Win7-thread- if not, you will know it worked.

I assume all problems described are preventable if the installation path is changed to a path where the user has r-w-d rights.

Hi.

Thanks for the reply. In none of the systems the installation path is the given one. It is also in a different drive drive from C:, and the user has all the permission in that drive and folder :)

Today I have installed it in another pc, with same OS, but it has an AMD proc instead of an Intel, and it works... Could this be the problem?!

I'm still tryng to make it work in the first 2 PCs, uninstalled and installed again various times, deleting registry key before the reinstallation, but the result is always the same, the option dialog make Windows to close the pdfcreator.exe :(
