Good morning. Does your product work under the Windows Server 2012 OS? And is there any way that it can be configured so that it can be called from within a ColdFusion 9 Application? I’ve read that there’s some kind of COM interface that can be leveraged, yet it’s unclear if this can be implemented within ColdFusion somehow.
We’ve been using Active PDF WebGrabber 2010 to convert HTML to PDF for about 5 years now, and have recently learned that they have dropped support for that version, and that they’ve tripled the price for their newest version. So we are seriously considering switching to using a different application to create PDFs, and your product was recommended by our server technician.
Thanks,
- Yvan
Hi,
it should locally run on the server, but will only support local print jobs, a proper service designed for server usage is currently being developed and will be available towards the end of next month.
I am afraid I don’t know anything about the Cold Fusion application.
If you are able to launch any script from Cold Fusion, it could utilize PDFCreator though the COM interface. Additional information about the COM interface can be found here: http://docs.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator/2.1/en/com-interface/ (the Beta status should get removed with the next update).
best regards,
